ABOUT BRYAN

M.A. LMFT, LPC | Assistant Director of Counseling

Hi! My name is Bryan. I am a seasoned and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in the heart of Texas. With a career spanning over 30 years in the IT and High-Performance Computing (HPC) industries, as well as specialized education in neurophysiology and behavioral neurology, I bring a unique perspective to the field of counseling, merging my deep knowledge of the brain's inner workings with a passion for helping individuals and families heal and thrive.

As the Assistant Director of Counseling at Hill Country Bible Church, I’m honored to work with a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met for all our clients. My unwavering commitment to excellence establishes me as a trusted figure in mental health.

My therapeutic toolkit is extensive, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT). As a certified Pain Reprocessing Therapist, I am trained to address not only emotional pain but also its physical manifestations.

My practice is diverse, as I work with individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in tackling some of the most challenging issues, including depression, anxiety, deep-rooted attachment wounds, and relational distress. My expertise in crisis and trauma response is particularly valuable for clients navigating difficult life transitions - including professionals, from military, police and fire/ems to pastors, teachers and mental health professionals.

My journey into counseling is a testament to my commitment to personal growth and the well-being of others. My transition from the tech world to counseling showcases my dedication to helping individuals find healing, purpose, and fulfillment in their lives. Whether you're seeking support through life's challenges or aiming to enhance your relationships, my experienced and compassionate approach make me a trusted guide on your journey.
